Every now and then I browse Manheim to see what's crossing the auction block.
This may be one of the more interesting cars I've seen so far.
I haven't seen a single 2015 Sierra on the road, yet this one has already clocked over 100k!
It's being sold by GM - perhaps it was running on a 24/7 belt to test endurance?
There's a near-identical one being sold by GM as well with 83K.

*But those are in truck miles. Like dog years but in reverse. 100k truck miles to a diesel roughly equates to 10k normal car miles
*(poster doesn't actually know anything about trucks. Content of post is not intended to be a factually correct statement)

Yeah I'd bet it is one of their test mules.
I see unreleased Big 3 cars roaming around out here all the time.

My dad works at an International dealership and he sees 2014's with over a million km's on them already.

.....but this one doesn't have dual 8" exhausts sticking out of the bed, so it must be down on the torques compared to a realz truck.
Duh! Go learn yourself about torques bro, it's what moves trucks.

I've said this about one before, it could be a transport truck. Those rack up that many miles very quickly.

Test vehicles usually aren't customer sale able vehicles. With how much margin are built into trucks, I would be surprised to see one sold to a customer. My guess would be that this is a regular production truck.
While it is possible to get a hold of test vehicles, I doubt you would see one for sale on a website like this.

Figured Auction site would be perfect to ditch a tester...

Unfortunately there's a shitload of liability that goes with test vehicles.
